Refunds and cancellations
These rules follow the work we actually sell: editions, calendars, waitlist cards, and proof appointments—not retail merch boxes.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid to Data Control Path for a cancelled or declined service. They do not apply to NFT tokens after a drop has occurred, or to secondary-market trades we never handled.
Waitlist cards
The 400 THB card fee is charged only after we confirm a place. If we decline because a cap is full, you pay nothing. If you withdraw more than forty-eight hours before freeze, we refund the card fee in full. After freeze, the fee is kept because the roster is already printed into the edition sheet.
Proof viewings
Cancel or reschedule at least one working day ahead for a full refund of the 1,200 THB appointment fee. Later cancellations and no-shows are not refunded. A viewing bundled into a private commission has no separate fee to refund.
Themed drop calendars
If you cancel before we lock the three-month theme, we refund in full. After the theme is locked and drafting has started, we refund 50% if no wall sheet has been sent. After delivery of the sheet, the quarter is not refundable.
Spotlight editions
The 40% deposit holds villain, cap, and calendar slot. If you cancel before cover pencils, we refund the deposit minus a 5,000 THB brief fee. After cover pencils, the deposit is not refundable because that work cannot be sold to another collector under a different villain. If we cancel because we cannot complete the interiors, we refund fees paid for work not delivered, including the deposit.
Work already started and materials
Printed proofs, paper, and ink already ordered for your edition are not refundable once printing has been requested. Digital interiors not yet lettered may be halted; lettered pages already approved stay with the studio unless the edition sheet says otherwise.
How to request a refund
Write to info@datacontrolpath.click with the issue name, the date of payment, and whether you are withdrawing a waitlist place, an appointment, a calendar quarter, or a commission. We respond within five working days in ICT.
Method and timing
Refunds go back by the same bank transfer or prompt-pay path you used, typically within ten working days after we agree the amount. We do not reverse blockchain mints.
Exceptions
If interiors are delayed by more than four weeks past the edition sheet’s stated drop month for reasons on our side, you may cancel the remaining work and receive a refund of fees for undelivered pages. Caps, freeze times, and villain locks are not “exceptions” that reopen a list.
